September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

Tuesday, September 18, 2012
Ovarian a silent killer. Many women have the symptoms, but are often misdiagnosed. Be aware of the symptoms!

Symptoms of ovarian cancer are often subtle and hard to diagnose; however, there are four main symptoms associated with the disease: These include:
  • Bloating
  • Pelvic or Abdominal pain
  • Difficulty eating or feeling full quickly
  • Urinary urgency or frequency
Other symptoms can include nausea, indigestion, gas, constipation or diarrhea, extreme fatigue, shortness of breath and backaches.

If you have these symptoms contact your doctor. Get checked.
My grandmother died at the age of 40 in 1957 because there wasn't early detection.
