Going through it now...perimenopause, which is another form of hell that menopause can't touch. LOL. I am hot all the damn time; so I'm constantly having fans on me- even in the dead of winter!-and always turning the air down more... hot flashes are a particularly ugly form of hell for those of us going through this, because you really have no control over when they hit.

I haven't gone through menopause yet, but it's coming

  1. I am going through it now and I mostly just use a lot of cold showers to try and help with the horrendous heat flashes

I believe I am in the midst of menopause. I suffer SEVERE bouts of an indescribable heat. I NEVER thought hot flashes could be this bad. I have not talked with my Dr yet. The last time I asked him (a few yrs back) if I was in menopause, he took a blood test and when it came back, he told me I wasn't. This time I'm pretty sure...Thanks for the giveaway! Kathleen on the RC By the way Facebook AND Pinterest have me blocked from following any more. It frustrates me because I lose out on entries and worse, don't get to follow anyone I really want to; like you. =(

I'm in my pre-menopause phase and I'm not looking forward to when it's here on full blast - but it's a part of life and I'll deal with it as best I can!

I had a total hysterectomy back in 2000 and was on hormones for 2 years then came off. I only had symptoms for about 2 months and then they went away and never came back. So, I don't know if it will come later on again or not.

going through it now, ugh! I usually rest, have a prescription for the migraines, the rest of the stuff I am currently dealing with, albeit not very well.

Yes I have gone through menopause just recently but still have a few hotflashes. I keep a cold can of pop in the fridge and tuck it in my shirt when they happen! haha
